SHAGYA ARAB – HORSES FOR ENDURANCE
Shagya Arab was originally assigned for needs of officers from Austrian-Hungary army. Nowadays Shagya Arab has been used in all types of equestrian sports, but has had completely dominant position together with Arabian thoroughbreds in Endurance. He has been predetermined for Endurance by his qualities such as hardness, toughness and persistence. He has got light gaits and can keep balance and elastic step even in demanding terrain. Skeleton and muscles of Shagya Arabs are bigger than the ones of a thoroughbred Arab. Shagya has got stronger legs and a very high quality and hard hooves. Shagya Arabs are very active horses with pleasant character, what makes an invaluable advantage for Endurance. As a proof of excellent qualities serves constantly increasing number of Shagya Arabs on the scale of the best horses in Endurance.

ÚSPĚCHY KONÍ Z NAŠEHO CHOVU V ENDURANCE ……………………………………………….
Following horses from our breed has been successfully participating ruing Endurance competitions: Karsen 1, Kevin 7, bred stallion 1342 Koheilan XI-CZ Split, Kánon, Svoboda, Dáma 3, Drina, Dolar1, Safír, Kalup, Svratka, Dhab (his mother Lira CZ-Sh-A-161 comes from our breed).Endurance is not only ridden under the saddle, but can also be carriage driven. That mean that people, who are not so good in saddle riding can also actively participate in this sport. The main intent remains the same, making the given distance in the shortest time, but with fresh horse. Our horses had repeatedly proven capability for carriage driving during such competitions. Eight mares from the basic herd and three bred stallions has reached the highest performance level “T”..

Jezdkyně Lucie Kubíková úspěšně reprezentuje ČR ve vytrvalostním sportu na mezinárodní úrovni. Valach Matyas z našeho chovu dosáhl s Lucií Kubíkovou těchto úspěchů.
